Do the Math - Adding Integers - Set 2

Explanation: When doing addition problems that involve positive and negative integers it is helpful to think in terms of money.  borrowing or spending money can be represented as a negative number. The answers to the problems in this problem set are between - 11 and 0.  

Examples: 

Problem              In terms of money.....                                                                            Answer

- 4 + ___ = - 7 You were $4 in debt and are now $7 in debt.  You borrowed how much more? $3, so - 3

___ + 6 = 2     You had debt, earned $6, paid the debt and now have $2.  Your debt was?  $4, so - 4

15 + ___ = 6   You had $15 and now have $6.  You spent how much?  $9, so - 9

___ + 5 = - 3   You paid $5 of your debt and still have $3 of debt?  Your original debt was?  $8, so - 8
